The Marni SS14 show at Milan Fashion Week took place in silence because the sound system went down.Yikes.. we do not know if this was intentional as it turned out to be a powerful show. This meant the attention remained fully on the collection rather than the soundtrack. We’ve noticed that the SS14 fashion week collections fall under two categories; Hip Hop 90’s style and clothing with eastern travel influences. Marni was no doubt eastern and stunning. Watch the show below, we apologise for the lack of music, maybe less is more. Can we suggest that if Marni did want to make a shhh statement with music, then they should have opted for ‘Sound of Silence’ by Simon and Garfunkel.
