His layered harmonies are very successful in Iceland and the 22 year old can probably expect his album, ‘In The Silence’ to have the same amount of radio play in the UK.
You should see this guy when he is live – it’s a very sensuous atmosphere with a voice that intensifies throughout his tracks. You can put him in the same box as Chet Faker, Sigur Ros and Hozier. His cover of Nirvana’s ‘Heart-shaped Box’ is the b-side to his single, ‘Here It Comes’ and we’re glad it arrived! This remix of Kurt Cobain’s song has been reworked for a second time by Notize….
