David Beckham H&M

The Superbowl adverts provided enough entertainment last night. David Beckham’s underwear appearance was channelled through to consumers from H&M’s short film. The advert cost a reported £2.2million for a 30 second showing. However the expense surely reached out to viewers. The Song “Don’t let me be misunderstood” echoed through the crowds at the Superbowl game. The 1965 version by The Animals is a tune.

“I’m just a soul who’s intentions are good, oh Lord, please, don’t let me be misunderstood”

A friend of mine, during this commercial, asked me to pass him something. I literally shushed him and swatted him away with my hand.

That is hilarious ! He could have been wearing any old underpants and it wouldn’t make a difference !

Becks could be advertising telephone books wearing a garbage bag, if the ad looked like that we would still want it! I am not sure the money was well spent though, I didn’t read a single word on the screen, just looked straight through it.
