BURBERRY PRORSUM SS15 & SOUNDTRACK #LFW

Suki Waterhouse was the leader of the Burberry pack yesterday at London Fashion Week. Model of the year and best mate Cara has already taken her front row residency at the show next to Kate Moss.

Cara’s senior status was perhaps decided to prove a point to other designers in not having to use the 22 year old Belgravia beauty on the runway. However, you could argue that they also did this to promote the recent perfume ad between Moss and Delevinge. Waterhouse’s limelight was a stunning success in fabrics that included gabardine, denim, silk and cobweb tulle in vibrant colours and floral hues.

The collection was themed, ‘The Birds and The Bees’ – which featured vintage book cover prints, British flowers and insects. Finally, the crowds at Hyde Park were treated to another live catwalk musical performance, this time from James Bay. We fell in love with James after his ‘When We Were On Fire’ track was released early this year. Listen to his raspy tones that provided a sensual backdrop and soundtrack to the show. Well done Christopher Bailey, we know you had it tough after Angela moved to Apple this year, but you’re managing just perfectly without her!
